I challenge you to answer this question: what is the hottest marketing tool today? If you know what Help Scout is, you'll probably know right away that the answer is: chat software! Have you ever thought about adding Help Scout to Webflow? But first, let me tell you something about it.
If you install it on your site, you will be able to have a direct chat with your prospects. Indeed, they will see a chat icon on their user interface. In most cases, this icon is placed at the bottom (right or left).
It also appears on all media (from smartphones to desktops to tablets; in short, on all screen sizes). I think you've already had opportunities to use it, on other websites.
A study conducted by the American Marketing Association actually showed that a conversion of more than 20% is observed on sites that have integrated a chat system. What could explain this growth, specifically?
First, your customers and prospects trust you more, because you answer their request instantly via the chat software. If they are satisfied enough with the results they get, they are likely to buy your services (or products) right away.
Secondly, you can use this opportunity to send your promotional offers directly to your contacts, which is more effective than sending them to several groups of people.
Using chat software won't cost you much money. On the contrary, their rates are generally affordable. However, as I explained earlier, you will have a significant return on investment (this applies to Help Scout). Be patient, I will show you how to add Help Scout to Webflow.
Compared to telephone services, you also save 50% (which is no mean feat).
In other words, you save your customers and prospects the stress. Let's face it, talking on the phone about a potential problem is pretty stressful, especially when the caller is a complete stranger! Fortunately for those who need you, they can contact you directly via chat.
From all the questions you have been asked via the chat software (especially the most frequent ones), I advise you to create a FAQ. It will make your job easier, but also that of the site's visitors! It will be a real time saver.
As they are satisfied with the speed of responses as well as their quality, be sure of one thing: they will be more loyal to you. A study even proved that the level of customer satisfaction with chat software is 73%, while it is only 61% for email and 44% for phone.
I told you about theicon earlier. Every chat program, including Help Scout, has one. Once you have successfully added Help Scout to Webflow, this icon is visible on the user interface. So, the user just has to click on it, and a window appears. Its appearance is very similar to social network messaging applications.
However, chat software is not totally similar to social network systems such as messenger, WhatsApp... The latter are said to be asynchronous (are independent of websites) while website chat software is not. Their operation depends entirely on the website in question, and therefore, they are asynchronous.
If you have a website and you offer services or products on it, I advise you to install a chat software. The same goes for your customers, don't hesitate to propose them to set up a chat system on their website.
Above all, if you are targeting young people (or if your customers are targeting young consumers), you should know this: 56% of the people who gave feedback on their satisfaction are young people(between 18 and 34). They make minimal effort to contact the site owner, yet they want some semblance of a close, personal relationship.
All that remains is to add Help Scout to Webflow. But how?
I know of several, but the one I use the most is Help Scout (which is why I've been talking about it throughout this article). I highly recommend it! It even offers a free 30 day trial if you're interested. :)
I particularly like it for its ease of use. With just a few clicks, you can integrate it on all the pages of your website. This simplicity does not exclude the fact that Help Scout is :
You can't stay on the site forever (unless you hire several people to make your customer service available 24 hours a day). In this case, Help Scout allows visitors to leave their email.
First, you need to create an account on Help Scout. Then log in. On your dashboard, you will have access to different tabs. This is the first one we are interested in: Mailboxes. Put your cursor on it, and sub-menus will appear. Then click on "add mailbox". Give it a name. Finally, to have an overview of the requests of your customers and prospects, click on open mailbox.
Under the last tab "Manage", click on "Beacons" to create the icon itself. You will be able to choose its colors, its shape... You just have to integrate it, and for that, click on "next". A long code will be given to you. Then click on "copy", and it's done! But where will you copy it ?
There is a YouTube video in which I describe this at the bottom of the article. Support me by subscribing to the YouTube channel "Happy Desk Design".

Conclusion
Having a chat software on your website has so many advantages, if only to increase sales, skyrocketing ROI and customer loyalty. Help Scout is one of these programs, but it stands out mainly because of its simplicity and the fact that it can easily be integrated with Webflow.
